“You doing drugs again?” No but maybe but probably not. Whatever, yep this is yet another weird title but trust me it will probably make sense at some point. The juggernaut of a company, Johnson & Johnson just can’t stop giving us cancer. Whether it’s in a powder, a pill, or now a fucking band-aid, J&J is on a run. So now we might as well go back to dirt for cuts because you know leukemia 20 years later for a cut knee just doesn't seem worth it anymore. Maybe my crazy cousin Steven was right about the whole big pharma and big healthcare being in bed with each other. I owe you a whippet Steve. It seems like the entire big business is trying to kill us in just the most creative ways possible, they kill us while we create the product and then WITH the product itself. Goddamn I love this world so much.
Johnson & Johnson “A Family Company” has already caught heat for what seems like decades for having “Forever Chemicals” whatever the fuck that is in their baby powders and Talc powders, well I guess Forever Chemicals are an ironic name for “slowly painfully die stuff” because that’s just what people did. Now years and lawsuits later, Johnson & Johnson is once again fanning the flame of controversy by being accused of knowingly having chemicals in Band-Aids, goddamn Band-Aids, that can cause irritation, burns, and yes good ole cancer. So, although I am 95% sure this is the cause, the tests were administered by a leading “watchdog” in the industry, and I’m no chemist but I’d take even an amateur over a dog. But Airbud rocked so what the fuck do I know.
So oddly enough I can’t find a ton of info on this besides a couple articles and the end-all-be-all of news, Twitter. Surely, it’s another case of people starting to talk, an investigation ensues, some credible evidence is found, J&J settles out of court, the witnesses are killed (JKJKJKJKJK please don’t hurt me corporate overlords). The justice system is an impregnable defense to our freedoms. However, if we do base any assumptions after past history, it’s not a leap to say the company might be hiding something or trying to not show what they know. Again, speculation to a degree. Whatever, J&J hasn’t had a stellar year, although they are a Dividend GOAT, the stock still is at levels seen in 2020. In the long-term I mean, come the fuck on, of course Johnson & Johnson will have phenomenal success and this will be a small part of history that is white-outed and scrubbed from the database.
The health care system just ain’t what it used to be. You know? Remember when the dentist was just a donkey in the field that would kick your teeth out? Good times. Johnson & Johnson are just another part of the whole that has been kicking our ass for decades now. Hopefully with advent of technology and the health cares systems’ odd fear of technology we can start getting some reform and make some sense of the complex system……. Hahahahaha jk guys, I am sure we are fucked. But we might as well laugh because that’s for whatever reason the best medicine. That’s my take on it, until next time.--GS
