What Happened?
Panera Bread recently came under attack after an employee, now fired (classic.) posted a video showing how they make mac and cheese. Basically, they take a pre-cooked, but frozen, mac and cheese “packet”, then they put in a fryer, after the contents are warmed, they finally cut the packet open it up and BAM! Mac N Cheese, from Panera, right in your bowl, and served to your fat ass.
The entire process angered customers and left others bewildered. I am with the bewildered customers, not because I can’t wrap my mind around them making mac n cheese this way, but that anyone cares they make do. Have y’all eve fucking heard of Waffle House? That placed would send you through a fucking loop if you don’t like Panera’s process. The press took the story and ran with it, dividing the votes in to “how dare you Panera” to “Why the fuck do you care?”. The controversy is still unraveling with many coming into the support of the employee that was fired over EXPOSING dem.
What do I think?
I couldn’t give a fuck. Really? Y’all are upset over the fact that there isn’t a gourmet chef in the back of every neighborhood Panera just waiting to make your fat ass some Mac N Cheese? Shocker. Look when it comes to fast casual, and I don’t give a fuck who you name, the chef will be Chef Microwave and he cooks food at 1500 Watts for the preset desired time for the dish, that the server is about to spit in before serving you.
People need something to bitch about and this is just the case. Remember when Chipotle poisoned a bunch of customers with E.coli or some shit? Yeah you forgot about that too and that was waaaaay worse than the heating process of your Mac N Cheese from Panera. So, get off your fucking high horses and eat the delicious food.
What a fucking magnificent country we live in where we are not pissed about the lack of food, but the way it is prepared. Shove it down your fucking gullet and get on with your day.
